If you are preparing to send us digital artwork, please review this submission guide.
In order to create color separations of sufficient quality for screen printing, certain baseline specifications of supplied artwork are required.
All supplied artwork should be submitted as either an Illustrator (.eps or .ai) file, or a Photoshop (.tif or .eps) file. (Files created in Corel Draw must be exported as an Illustrator .ai file prior to submission)
All fonts must be converted to outlines (curves in Corel Draw) before saving your file. If your artwork is heavy on text and you need to send it AS text, remember to include all versions of the font file when submitting.
JPEGs, GIfs, BMPs or any images captured from the web are of low quality and are NOT acceptable for separations.
Whenever possible, submitted artwork should be in Spot Colors using the Pantone Matching System (PMS) to specify colors.
If a specific color match is not possible, Cool Air Creations will match the colors being displayed as closely as possible.
All artwork should be supplied at the desired output size of the finished print. If supplied artwork is not to size, output size must be indicated.
Photoshop (raster) files must be at 300dpi at finished print size. (Opening a low resolution file in Photoshop and increasing the DPI is NOT acceptable. This only makes the file larger and does not improve the image quality.)
If supplied artwork is created using both raster and vector (Illustrator) artwork, all component files that comprise the finished artwork must be submitted. (i.e.; a high-res embedded .tif file in an Illustrator file)
Artwork submitted as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, or other business software file document are NOT acceptable for color separations.
