What do you do?

 

I oversee production, sales, sales support, systems, and am proud to be part of the leadership team at Cool Air Creations, Inc. I started in this industry in an entry-level position and have worked my way through nearly every aspect of the business.

 

Over the past 40 years, I've developed a broad knowledge of everything we offer — and I'm still learning every day. My goal is to help our team succeed by creating efficient processes, solving problems, and making sure we continue delivering great products to our customers.

 

I'm also our Chief Paper Refiller, Copier Wrangler, Paper Towel Restocker, and Soap Dispenser Filler ... because somebody has to keep this place running!

 

How many years of experience do you have?

 

I have 17 years with Cool Air Creations, Inc., and 40 years in the decorated apparel industry.

 

What do you like best about the job?

 

One of my favorite parts of this job is seeing the products we've created out in the real world. I've traveled all over the country, and it never fails — I'll spot someone wearing a shirt, hat, or carrying a water bottle that came from Cool Air Creations, Inc. My kids know what's coming next because I can't help myself: "See that shirt? We made that!" (Cue the synchronized eye rolls ... it happens almost every trip.)

 

Fun fact about you:

 

For 25 years, I raced hydroplanes and was fortunate enough to become a four-time national champion. In 2004, I was inducted into the American Power Boat Association Hall of Champions. These days, though, my greatest victories are traveling with my wife and our three children and making memories together ... or four children, if you ask my wife!
